This is one of the more detailed pages on the site, but “detailed” is relative — compared to typical wildlife coloring pages, it’s still very approachable. The face has some expression and the mane area has a bit of texture, making it satisfying for kids who want a bit more of a challenge. Good for ages 6 and up.

Tawny yellows and warm browns are realistic choices, but lions in kids’ coloring pages don’t need to follow the rules. A purple lioness is a perfectly good lioness.
